It’s a privilege to be back in Europe, touring with a piece of American Soul history and promoting our latest album The Right Time. In the late 60’s, Ural released the singles Pain Is The Name Of Your Game/Since You Went Away, Fade Away/Smile and Can You Dig It/Whole New Thing, which charted. During this time he had a residency at the Apollo and toured Europe as well as the States. Not too surprising, Ural’s prowess faded in the minds and culture of the US over the decades, but not so in those of Europe where art in its various forms are preserved and revered.
Our tour starts off in Paris at the primeur venue Duc des Lombards; two shows a night for two nights.
Then we’re off to London to play the historic 100 Club; Paradiso in Amsterdam, NL; Trefpunt in Gent, BE; Privatclub in Berlin; Folk a Rock in Skane, SE; Nalen in Stockholm, SE; finally Chelsea in Vienna, AT.
The Pain is special group of dudes. I feel lucky to be with them and honored to help give Ural his due time and share him with the world.
